Linking to a Specific Post

Ever wondered how to link to an individual post? Perhaps someone wrote something a long time ago that you really want to link back to in order to share it with your readers. You know how to link to a blog, but how on earth do you link to a single post? You'll be surprised by how easy this is!

Find the post that you'd like to link to. Click on the title.

Look up at the very top of your computer screen. Copy (ctrl + c) the url (web address - highlighted in blue above) in the long box. That, my friends, is the url for that specific post! Be sure to copy the whole thing. Try triple clicking to get it all in one fell swoop.

Putting a link to an individual post is the same as putting any old link into a post. All you have to do is create a link and paste (ctrl + v) in the url when directed. Voila!

Don't know how to put a link in a post? No worries! Click here for easy instructions!

Thank you for the tips! I was banging my head against the wall trying to center my social media icons until I found your site. For multiple icons I did this-in the html box I have several icons. I put the beginning center at the very first set of code and the close center at the end of the last set of code. Lifesaver!

I added you to my list of resources on my blog :) Thanks again!
